Naib Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman have signed the condolence book preserved in the Iranian Embassy in Bangladesh, expressing deep grief over the death of His Excellency President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahian and other companions in a tragic helicopter accident.
On May 23, he went to the Iranian embassy in Dhaka and signed the condolence book and prayed to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of the souls of the victims. Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, member of Jamaat’s central executive council and secretary of central propaganda department, was present with him at that time.
During the signing of the condolence book, he met the Iranian Ambassador to Dhaka, Mr. Mansoor Chavoshi, and through him welcomed and congratulated the Interim President of Iran, Mohammad Mokhbar.
